I was talking to a friend about a VHS tape of my mother and I as a baby on the news after we almost drowned in a creek. Yikes. Supposedly there was a road that you had to drive through a creek (it was a little creek so it usually was safe but it had rained.) and we got swept away and my mother had to break the car window to get us out. Maybe that’s where my fear of drowning came from even though I don’t remember? Lol.
