Rules:
- You do not have to complete the aspiration unless the rules say so
- You may use money cheats but not excessively! For example, you can use freerealestate for your first home but you can’t use money cheats for decorating!
- Your sims do not have to resemble any character from any show unless you want them to. They can be any gender, but the founder must be a young adult.
- Use the hashtags #showslegacy or #slg1, #slg2 (the number based on the generation you’re playing!) if you want us to see your posts!
- This legacy uses aspects from all packs! If you do not have a pack that is needed, there will be an alternative. If there isn’t, send one of us an ask!
- If there is a career path option, you can choose whichever one you want, unless the rules specify which one you need to choose.
- Keep in mind, these are not EXACT to the show and some generations are extremely story based (ex: generation 10)
- We are aware that this has been done before, but there aren’t only 10 shows that exist.
- We worked very hard on this challenge and hope you enjoy!
Generation One – A Series of Unfortunate Events
When you were a kid, your parents died in a terrible fire. You were the eldest of all of the kids, and it was now your job to protect and care for your siblings. You loved to invent things to help with everyday chores, and your youngest siblings got a kick out of watching you put two and two together.
Traits: Genius, Geek, Family-Oriented
Aspiration: Big Happy Family
Career: Scientist or astronaut
Rules:
- Finish the big happy family aspiration
- Master the parenting skill
- Have great relationships with all of your kids
- Complete scientist/astronaut career
- Master the logic skill
- Have lived in three or more different homes over the span of your life
- Master the cooking skill
Generation Two – Riverdale
One of your friend’s siblings had died while you were growing up. You were so engrossed in the mystery of what had happened to them, that you realize what you really wanted to be in life. A detective. Although you were very focused on your career, you still made way for romance.
Traits: Romantic, Perfectionist, Good
Aspiration: Serial Romantic
Career: Detective (If you don’t have Get to Work, Writer)
Rules:
- Finish the Serial Romantic Aspiration
- Date some of your closest friends and marry one of them
- Complete the Detective Career
- Master the logic skill
- Have a set of twins (you can cheat for this)
Generation Three – Imposters
Growing up, you found that you were scared of commitment. You loved the feeling of “getting in deep” with someone just to leave them hanging. That’s why you became a con artist, employed under someone who doesn’t take “no” for an answer. As you engage in your work, you realize the art of con is messy and you find yourself falling apart – and falling for those who you are conning. But, there are consequences and you must stay and line and remember the goal – the cash. You feel your secret becoming more and more exposed with every passing second – and you want out. But it isn’t that simple.
Traits: Materialistic, Non-committal, Romantic
Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy
Career: Secret Agent (Con Artist)
Rules:
- Con at least three rich people (fall in love, marry them, then divorce them. Afterwards, change your appearance/identity and move) steal their money and earn 100k from the con master each con.
- Have at least one child who doesn’t know their other parent
- Get to level 7 of Secret Agent Career
- Complete Charisma skill
- Complete Fabulously Wealthy Aspiration
- Have close calls with people almost finding out who you are
- Halfway through adulthood quit conning and settle down in a secluded area where the con master can’t find you
- Ask your last con to run away with you (once you have confessed) you decide if they agree or not
Generation Four – Friends
You grew up rich and snobby, and eventually came to the city in need of help and a new life. You came to live with your old best friend – who quickly becomes one of your current best friends – and it changed your life.
Traits: Snob (after moving to the city, change this trait to ambitious), Squeamish (if you don’t have Outdoor Retreat, Clumsy), Cheerful
Aspiration: Hopeful Romantic
Career: Business
Rules:
- Live in an apartment or a small house
- Have one roommate
- Have at least five friends (you can have more, but these five must have a full relationship bar.)
- Date lots of people
- Get pregnant because of an affair with one of your friends
- Raise the baby together (you can move out to the other parent’s house or have them move in with you, taking the place of your roommate.)
- Eventually get married and move to a real house
- Complete the business career
Generation Five – The Office
Your parent had traded their fortune for friendship and romance. Sadly, that didn’t work out so well for you, because now you’re stuck with a job as a salesman at a paper company, full of a bunch of people with clashing personalities. Unexpectedly, you all become great friends, and share many jokes along the way.
Traits: Perfectionist, Outgoing, Goofball
Aspiration: Joke Star
Career: Business

- Complete Joke Star aspiration
- Master Comedy Skill
- Be friends with 3 of your co-workers
- Marry a co-worker
- Have 3 kids
- Master business career
Generation Six – Grey’s Anatomy
You felt ashamed when you had to tell people your parent works in an office. Your parent never really expected much of you, but you want to prove them wrong. Being “ordinary” isn’t enough, you want to be “extraordinary.” So you have planned on become a world-renowned surgeon since the ages of 10. You aren’t going to let your dreams be dreams.
Traits: Ambitious, Genius, Self-Assured
Aspiration: Nerd Brain
Career: Doctor
Rules:
- Complete Doctor Career
- Fall in love with a fellow co-worker, and then find out they’re married. (Have them divorce their other to be with you)
- Only have friends from work (2 of them leave)
- Have 3 kids
- Have some of your friends live with you until your third kid is a toddler
- Have your husband die (YOUR SOULMATE), managing to stay strong- you find another love
- Master a skill of your choice
- Have one of your friends be “your person”
Generation Seven – Gossip Girl
Your parent was a very successful doctor, which left no shortage of cash. So you became a socialite, someone who is very well known in fashionable society. You start a website to talk about all the gossip and drama that goes around in your town, and you blow up.
Traits: Insider (Ambitious if you don’t have Get Together), Outgoing, and Snob
Aspiration: Leader of the Pack (friend of the world if you don’t have Get Together)
Career: Social Media
Rules:
- Live in San Myshuno (if you have City Living)
- Marry someone rich and “famous”
- Complete Social Media career and your Aspiration
- Master Charisma skill
- Have 4 kids
Generation Eight – Glee
You grew up with so many siblings it was hard to distinguish yourself. You spent a lot of time alone, mainly just singing. Eventually, there becomes a new club at school – a “glee” club. You become a part of it, but never expected to make that many friends along the way.
Traits: Music Lover, Cheerful, Creative
Aspiration: Musical Genius
Career: Entertainer
Rules:
- Master singing skill (or a musical instrument skill if you don’t have City Living)
- Marry a member of the club
- Run a club with a bunch of other people from different cliques
- Master Entertainer Career (preferably the musician branch but whatever you want)
- Have your club meet once a week until you’re an adult and set your meeting place for a karaoke club
Generation Nine – Stranger Things
As a child, you realized your town was plain weird. People went missing randomly, deaths presented themselves soon after. You stuck with your friends and somehow survived together. Still, the experience messed you up a little bit.
Traits: Hot Headed, Insane, Geek
Aspiration: Nerd Brain
Career: Secret Agent (You want to help anybody who has to go through something like this.)
Rules:
- Have four friends with a relationship bar maxed
- Eventually get one more friend that will soon be your love interest
- Live in the same place for awhile, until you get fed up and move
- Master logic skill
- Master handiness skill
- Complete Secret Agent career
Generation Ten – The 100
The world has been sent into a inhabitable state, lucky for you and 99 other people, you managed to be in space at the time of the catastrophe. You all decide you must return to earth to see if human life can survive – after all the spaceship you are on does not have unlimited oxygen. You come down to Earth, realizing it is habitable – but everything has been destroyed. You rebuild the society together – but challenges present themselves.
Traits: Gloomy, Loves Outdoors, Jealous
Aspiration: The Curator
Career: Unemployed – gather money through other sources
Rules:
- “Rebuild your society” (libraries, public places, etc.) no money limits in items here, just use low quality items (it does cost you a “down-payment” of 2k each time you want to rebuild a new place, though)
- Live with 4 of the others (you don’t have to make 99 sims lol)
- Have 1 friend die from “radiation poisoning”
- Once your society is built, you may find love and have children
- Make a graveyard/memorial for past generations
- Max Gardening, Cooking, and Handiness skill
