While people are divided on Tumblr arguing who are and aren’t pedophiles, bashing each other, and adding each other to hit lists, real shit, real problems, real suffering is going on in the world outside the world of internet.
Such as the wild fires roaring Greece these days.
I have had several people concerned in my message box since yesterday, and I just wanna make a public statement that I am thankfully nowhere near the raging fires, but that does not mean they are any less real.
If you make a quick search in Google, you will see that Greece is on SOS alert.
While people in the sims community are busy pointing fingers at each other, causing online enemies, families are trapped in burning houses, hugging their kids to protect them from burning. Wild animals are being swallowed by flames. Stray dogs are desperately running to find shelter. People are jumping in the sea to try to save their life.
If that doesn’t put things in perspective for you, I don’t know what will. And maybe you need to take a hard look at yourself as a person. If you need more perspective, watch the pics below, they are very real, unlike most of the accusations flying on both sides of this virtual battle. Greek fire fighters, stray and wild life, and the Greek people that are affected by this, are the ones fighting the real battle.
