Dexter: You know, I’m really happy that we’re best friends again. I was so scared that you’d hate me forever and never forgive me. Wait, you forgive me, right?

Josie: Of course I forgive you, dummy! Not going to lie, the way you went about things really hurt me but I’m just glad it’s over. 

Dexter: I’m truly sorry for the way that I treated you, it makes me feel like absolute shit and I can’t even begin to imagine the way it made you feel. If I could take it all back, I would.

Josie: All of that terrible shit that happened is in the past, okay? Let’s not dwell on it. From now on let’s just focus on now.
