i just got a message from a tumblr called “pink-plastic” asking if i had city living. they acted pretty sweet saying how they didnt have enough money to buy it, and then proceeded to ask to log onto my origin account to download city living onto their pc

do not let them!!!

do not give them your origin account information!!!!

i know this might be pretty obvious but we have some bbys in our community and i just want you to know that saying no to this type of thing is so fricking important!!! even if the person seems sweet, you have no clue what their real intentions are!

not only that but they are literally asking for access to every single one of your games on origin. in my case, they would have access to downloading every single sims game for free. plus the fact that (if i understand this correctly), you can’t even fucking play sims at the same time if you let someone else download it off your origin account!!

also! if you’re like me and have a credit card or paypal saved to your origin, that person can just go right ahead and buy whatever the frick they like with your money!!!!

even if this person did have good intentions, this is just both ridiculous and rude, especially to ask of a complete stranger!!! how on earth do you think it is ok to ask someone who has spent £40+ on an expansion pack to just allow you to get it for free because you act nice and friendly? whats even more worrying is the fact that this person didn’t even beat around the bush. they asked for my origin account literally 2 minutes into the conversation!!

if you’re reading this pink-plastic, and your intentions were not to steal all of my games and potentially my money, then, cool! but you can’t just not pay for shit and expect everyone to hand you stuff on a plate!!!!!
