NOT SO BERRY

Between working and taking care of Iris, Astrid barely had anytime to do the things she loves. So of course when she gets free time, she works out as much as she can! It’s hard to say how much she’ll be able to do this once the new baby arrives.

I recently envisioned my idea of Persephone in the Sims 4 here and @sparkiemonkey suggested I make it into a CAS Challenge! So here it is!

This is my first attempt at a CAS Challenge, so please be kind! 

The Gods & Goddesses CAS Challenge is based around the Gods and Goddesses in Greek Mythology. The rules are simple- just make a sim everyday for 8 days corresponding to the Greek Gods and Goddesses listed below.

You can create modern-day Gods or make them historically accurate. It is entirely up to you! So here is the CAS Challenge! Please feel free to take part!

For those who don’t know much about Greek Mythology, I’ve included a little backstory for each God and Goddess. I’ve also listed their suggested Aspirations and Traits!

Day 1. Persephone
Persephone is a true nature child, being the daughter of the goddess of the harvest. Her mother is also affectionately known as Mother Nature. Persephone is a living example of youth, beauty, and life, and draws the attention of the king of the dead, Hades.

Aspiration: Freelance Botanist

Traits:

  • Self-Assured
  • Loves Outdoors
  • Cheerful

Day 2. Hades
Hades is best known as the ruler of the underworld. It became his dominion after he and his brothers drew lots for their share of the universe.

Aspiration: Soulmate

Traits:

  • Loner
  • Gloomy
  • Music Lover

Day 3. Zeus
Zeus was the first of the Gods and a very imposing figure. Often referred to as the “Father of Gods and men”, he is a sky god who controls lightning (often using it as a weapon) and thunder. Zeus is king of Mount Olympus, the home of Greek gods, where he rules the world and imposes his will onto gods and mortals alike.

Aspiration: Serial Romantic

Traits:

  • Non-Committal
  • Romantic
  • Hot-Headed

Day 4. Hera
Hera is the Queen of the Gods and is the wife and sister of Zeus in the Olympian pantheon. She is known for being the Goddess of Marriage & Birth. Despite being the Goddess of Marriage, she was known to be jealous and vengeful towards the many lovers and offspring of her husband Zeus.

Aspiration: Big Happy Family

Traits:

  • Jealous
  • Hates Children
  • Mean

Day 5. Poseidon
Poseidon was god of the sea, earthquakes, storms, and horses and is considered one of the most bad-tempered, moody and greedy Olympian gods. He was known to be vengeful when insulted.

Aspiration: Angling Ace

Traits:

  • Mean
  • Hot-Headed
  • Active

Day 6. Athena
Athena, also referred to as Athene, is a very important goddess of many things. She is goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill. But most importantly, she is the Goddess of War. She is known most specifically for her strategic skill in warfare and is often portrayed as companion of heroes and is the patron goddess of heroic endeavour.

Aspiration: Renaissance Sim

Traits:

  • Genius
  • Active
  • Good

Day 7. Aphrodite
Aphrodite is the Goddess of Love and Beauty and according to Hesiod’s theogony, she was born from the foam in the waters of Paphos, on the island of Cyprus. Many gods believed that her beauty was such that their rivalry over her would spark a war of the gods.

Aspiration: Friend of the World

Traits:

  • Romantic
  • Non-Committal
  • Cheerful

Day 8. Ares
Ares is the god of war, one of the Twelve Olympian Gods and the son of Zeus and Hera. In literature Ares represents the violent and physical untamed aspect of war, which is in contrast to Athena who represents military strategy and generalship as the goddess of intelligence.

Aspiration: Public Enemy

Traits:

  • Hot-Headed
  • Mean
  • Insane

Animal Cruelty & What you can do to help!

Every year in Australia the RSPCA (

Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ) responds to over 50,000 reports of

animal mistreatment. It costs them over

$100 million each year to provide the service they do.

Animal cruelty and the industry that supports it is so toxic. My family adopted a rescue dog which lived for us for over 8 years and to be able to help provide a home for one of the victims of the puppy farming industry was amazing. 

In honor (for lack of a better word) the release of The My First Pet pack
I’m going to be donating the price of the pack ( $15 AUD ) to the RSPCA and I encourage my followers & other members of the community to do the same for non-profits in their respective countries.
