what she means: EA is not a video game company they are a publically traded profit making publisher who have a legal responsibility to maximize profits for their stockholders and will do anything to create a profit. big publishers like EA are damaging the gaming industry as we know it. please please stop condemning people who express their perfectly understandable criticisms of EA and their products. as long as you’re not hurting anyone it’s fine to express your thoughts and opinions. it’s not negativity it’s not complaining it’s the only way to get them to listen
The game plan: I make a sims YouTube channel where all I do is be really bubbly and eat EAs ass. Eventually it grabs their attention and they start sending me shit for free. All the gurus follow me on twitter. I hold giveaways every week. Then they invite me to sims events. Then they offer me a job at the lowest position. “We like your potential,” they tell me, “we see you going far.” I do. I work my way all the way up to the top and suddenly I own EA. I then call a large press conference that includes all EA and Maxis staff from all branches. Everyone is waiting for me to make my announcement. There have been rumors of the Sims 5 for VR. I silence everyone and press my lips right against the microphone. Everyone is dead quiet. Finally I speak:
