ok but like can we please stop ridiculing people for something they might have said one time? i don’t know about you, but i’m not perfect. far from it. i know i’m guilty of having a momentary lapse of judgment and spew out things without thinking about it, and later realized they didn’t come out as intended or were honestly just plain offensive (albeit unintentionally). and i feel awful about it. i hate how we tend to ignore the millions of good things someone does and choose to focus on the one time they slip up. we’re all human. we all make mistakes. what’s important is that we learn from them and grow and try to do better next time. so quit expecting everyone to be perfect, and stop ridiculing them when they aren’t.
