Do 👏 not 👏 get 👏 pets 👏 if 👏 you 👏 don’t 👏 have 👏 the 👏 time 👏 or 👏 the 👏 patience 👏 to 👏 properly 👏 train 👏 them 👏 and 👏 take 👏 care 👏 of 👏 them.

I’ve seen SO MANY people on various social media lately complain about their pets or post that they’re rehoming them for ridiculous reasons such as having to keep them inside now due to the colder weather, too much shedding, being too much to handle, etc.

AND I’M LIVID, Y’ALL.

Like I understand that life is unpredictable sometimes, and there may be unforeseeable circumstances that really leave you with no other choice but to rehome them. But more often than not, it’s due to lazy owners or the inability or unwillingness to put in the effort their pets deserve.

Pets are a HUGE responsibility and require lots of love, attention, and patience. If you’re unable to provide that for them, please don’t get one.

YOU TOOK ON THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THAT PET WHEN YOU TOOK IT IN.  YOU DON’T GET TO JUST GIVE UP ON IT WITHOUT A DAMN GOOD NO OTHER OPTION SITUATION GOING ON.  THAT’S IT.  PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

And guess what SMALL pets take time and effort too.  Be it a rabbit or a lizard or a mouse or a fish they’re not “easy” “throw away” pets that you can put in a corner and forget about it.  

You brought them into your home.  You have a responsibility to make their lives as wonderful as you can. 

IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE TIME OR ENERGY OR LOVE TO GIVE YOUR PET THEN DON’T GET ONE!
