tyler: can i ask why we’re at a park for toddlers? what are you showing me…
iris: just be patient, he’s over here.
tyler: he?
iris: before i show you, i just want you to know that i kept this from you because i was scared how you would react. it was incredibly selfish of me, i will totally understand if you hate me but i couldn’t hide him from you forever.
tyler: iris, i don’t hate you at all. i admit, when we first separated, i wanted nothing to do with you. but i realised that i was the selfish one. i should have never pushed a baby on you without understanding your feelings. i’m so sorry.
iris: i forgive you. i want to start over. just follow me, okay?
iris: hey, i didn’t thank you were going to show up…
tyler: i wasn’t but it sounded urgent. now what did you want to talk about?
iris: hey, i know it’s been a long time and you probably hate me but we need to talk. it’s important. if you care, please meet me at the park next to the starbucks in newcrest. thanks.
iris: i’ve been selfish by not letting you know your dad but that’s all going to change tomorrow, my sweet boy.
what’s better than some playtime after work and before bedtime?
you could say her first house call was a little… odd.
the next day at work, iris got her first every house call!
astrid: it’s been two years and you still haven’t told him.
iris: to be fair, he blocked my number and i don’t know where he lives!
astrid: i’m sure tess could easily get a hold of him, they are family friends after all.
iris: i don’t know…
