Dexter: You finally got fed up with me, huh?

Carina: *rolling eyes* I’m sure I could have put up with you for a little longer but things didn’t really go as planned.

Dexter: And what is that supposed to mean?

Carina: Not that it’s any of your business, but Dustin and I are having a baby. 

Dexter: Wait, you had sex with him!? When!?

Carina: A few weeks ago, at the party…

Dexter: N-No.. you – did you have sex with him because I wouldn’t!? What the hell is wrong with you!?

Carina: Dex-

Dexter: Don’t. I’m done with you, just get the hell out of my life and never come back! You’ve caused everyone around you enough pain and I won’t deal with it any longer! LEAVE!

Dexter: Is it true? About you and Dustin.

Carina: Let me guess, that little pink-haired bitch told you? I should have known she’d run her mouth.

Dexter: Don’t you call her that! She only told me what I needed to know!

Carina: Here you go, defending her over me! I was angry and acting stupid, okay? I made a mistake! It happens all the time!

Dexter: A mistake? You cheated on me with that asshole! Is it also true that the only reason you even agreed to go out with me was to make him jealous? 

Carina: Don’t act like you’re surprised. You really think I ever liked you? The only reason I dated you was because you wouldn’t stop following me around like some pathetic ass puppy! I gave you what you wanted! Making Dustin jealous was only a bonus. 

Dexter: Was this entire relationship just a joke to you? Do you even care about the damage your actions cause people? What is wrong with you?

Carina: Can we just get to the point? You came here to break up with me which is hilarious because that’s why I agreed to come here with you! It’s over, yeah?

Dexter: Dad, can I ask you a question about something?

Tyler: Is it about women because I’m not sure I can give you great advice. Women are mysterious creatures. Your mother and I have been together for almost twenty years and I still don’t know what goes through that woman’s mind half the time. I’m rambling, sorry.

Dexter: Uh… okay. Anyway, it is about women – Carina, specifically. The other day when Josie came over, she told me that she caught Carina with Dustin at the park. I don’t really know what to do, I really love her. 

Tyler: Do you want my honest opinion?

Dexter: Well, yeah.. that’s why I came to you.

Tyler: Ever since the day that I found out you existed, I loved you more than anything in this world – honestly, I loved you way before you were born – and it pains me very much to see someone I love so much be hurt by someone he too, loves. What you and this girl have, it isn’t love. If she loved you, she would never do something like that to you. 

Dexter: So should I break up with her? 

Tyler: I think that’s what is best for both of you.

Dustin: Did you take the test yet? Was it positive?

Carina: I took it and it looks like I’m not going to be the only one calling you daddy anymore.

Dustin: Hilarious. So you gonna dump that loser now that you’re knocked up with my kid?

Carina: Depends on if you’re going to actually be here and not run off the minute it’s born. 

Dustin: Trust me, I’m not going anywhere. I want my kid to have a real family and not what I had.

Carina: How sweet of you. I’ll break up with Dexter tomorrow. I don’t even know why I put up with him as long as I did, he’s so annoying. 

Dustin: Sounds like a plan.
