NOT SO BERRY

Raphael: I really enjoyed spending time with you tonight, it was nice.

Cami: Yeah.. it was pretty fun.

[ raphael leans in to kiss cami ]

Cami, thinking: Oh god, he’s going to kiss me! This is too much!

[ cami pushes him away ]

Cami: I’m sorry, I-I can’t!

NOT SO BERRY

Raphael: Your dad loves you, I’m sure he’ll understand.

Cami: You don’t know my dad like I do. He just wants me to do everything that he never did – be a grade A student, go to prom and then college. I already skipped out on prom and he was so upset. My dad is the best but sometimes I just wish he would understand that I don’t want the life he pictures for me. I wanna live it the way I picture it.

Raphael: And how do you picture it?

Cami: I’d really like to be a best-selling author one day. That’d be the dream! Of course I want the nice home in somewhere cool like Del Sol Valley or San Myshuno, married to the love of my life with three or four beautiful children of my own running around, too. I guess I don’t have that much planned out, but I’ll get there one day!

Raphael: I think your picture is beautiful. I hope I can be a part of it.

Cami: I’d like that a lot.

NOT SO BERRY

Raphael: Hey there, beautiful! How was your day?

Cami: Boring. I didn’t do much but homework and that’s always stressful. School is just so time consuming. I feel like I never get to see you and the others anymore.

Raphael: Good thing we graduate this year, I don’t think I could handle another year of this stupid school.

Cami: I’m excited to graduate… but my dad has really been pushing the whole college thing. I wish I could get the courage to tell him it’s not what I want. I’m just worried that I’ll disappoint him.
