NOT SO BERRY

TYLER: “Why should I have to give up what I want because of you!? Don’t my feelings matter to you?”

IRIS: “I’m the one who is gonna have to carry the baby for nine months and then go through horrendous labor! I’m not going to sacrifice my dreams for something that can wait a few years! If you can’t deal with it, then just GO!”

NOT SO BERRY

TYLER: “A few years!? I was thinking more like months! All I’ve ever wanted is to be a dad…”

IRIS: “Okay, but that’s not what I want right now! My career is important to me! Look, I never said we couldn’t have kids; I want a lot of them, but only when I’m ready.”

Rose was coming around to the possibility of being a mother and decided to take a pregnancy test to confirm what she already, secretly knew. It was true. Rosemarie Berry was going to be a mother at the young age of seventeen. She was scared, but there was a happiness that settled into her heart at the thought of a small, little baby being held in her arms. It would be hard, but not impossible. Rosemarie wasn’t a believer in promises, but she’d set aside her beliefs to promise her unborn child the best life she could give them. She was going to prove to everyone that she was good enough to be a mom.
