dustin: all she does is tell me how annoying you are! always following her around like some lost little puppy. the only reason she hangs out with you is because she feels sorry for you.

dexter: can i tell you something before you go?
carina: what is it?
dexter: i just – i know you didn’t want me to bring it up again but i want you to know that i really like you. like, like like you! you could do so much better than that idiot.
carina: i’m sorry dexter, i don’t like you like that. i have to go… i’ll see you at school on monday.
dexter: oh.

carina: you don’t know him like i do! he’s nice and i think i love him! can we talk about something else?
dexter: ugh, fine. i’m just looking out for you.
carina: yeah, i know but i can take care of myself. i know i’m just a kid but i’m not dumb.
dexter: you’re the smartest girl in the whole world, that’s for sure.

dexter: why are you with that jerk? he bullies everyone!

i had to lock them outside so i could furnish the house and they were not very happy about it.

carina: i just – i feel bad for not doing anything more to help. what dustin did was wrong and i should have tried harder to make him stop.
